Raised in Bronx, NY, Charlene Costor has been studying design from as early as she can remember. She made her first sketch at age 3, merely scribbles on her home walls but by age 14, she studied at Art Instruction Schools and learned the basics of art. By the time she made it to High school she studied Animation and Illustration at Art and Design High School in Midtown, Manhattan. Despite her love of cartooning and manga art, Charlene always had a passion for Fashion. Charlene proceeded to study Fashion Design and illustration with a specialty in Women's Sportswear at New York's Prestigious Fashion College, The Fashion Institute of Technology. Prior to her graduation, Charlene had many design internships and had freelanced at DKNY, Dollhouse, Liz Claiborne, Walter Baker and Tracy Reese to name a few. After graduation she worked as a Freelance designer for Vakko NY, a Turkish fashion lifestyle brand designing contemporary sportswear and outerwear.
In 2011, Charlene assisted Fashion guru and Creative director, Henry Picado on his luxurious evening wear collection for JS Group international.
Currently Charlene is a designer at Levis Girls Global, working on girl's apparel and accessories. She also still continues to do various women's wear projects & designs for friends and other companies.
